Local Circuit
A free, community-driven monthly program that connects emerging DJs with local promoters. Promoters set the stage, the community votes, the winner gets the slot.
One-liner
Free for artists. Free for promoters. Powered by the community.
The Three Phases
Every Local Circuit edition runs through three sequential phases, each owned by a different actor.
Promoter sets the stage
Register, add venues, create an edition, and share it with the community.
Owner — Promoter
Artists & community decide
Artists register, complete their profile, and the community votes for the best.
Owner — Artist + Community
Promoter reaps the rewards
Book the winner, grow your database, send offers, and create the next edition.
Owner — Promoter
Phase 1 — Promoter Start
Four steps the promoter takes to launch a new Local Circuit edition.
1. Register in MavelPoint
Create your promoter account and set up your professional profile on the platform.
2. Add Venues
Add the venues you manage or work with to your promoter profile.
3. Create Edition
Launch a new Local Circuit edition — set the city, dates, and open the call for artists.
4. Share with Community
Spread the word through your channels and let the community know about the edition.
Phase 2 — Voting (Artist)
What an emerging artist does to enter and compete in an edition.
1. Register in MavelPoint
Create your artist account on the platform — it's free.
2. Complete Onboarding
Fill in your profile with genres, bio, mixes, social links, and photos.
3. Register to Edition
Browse available Local Circuit editions and sign up for the one in your city.
4. Share & Get Voted
Share your participation with your community — the more votes, the higher your chances.
Phase 2 — Voting (Community)
How the community decides which artist wins the slot.
1. Open the Edition Page
Community members visit the Local Circuit edition page to discover the participating artists — browse profiles, listen to mixes, and explore their work.
2. Vote for One Artist
Each community member casts a single vote for their favorite artist. The artist with the most votes wins the edition and earns the live performance slot.
Phase 3 — Promoter End
What the promoter does after voting closes. The payoff phase.
1. Communicate Winner & Book
Announce the winning artist and book them for your next event.
2. Database Growth
Get access to all participating artists and voters — grow your audience database.
3. Send Ticket Offers
Optionally send ticket offers to all participants and voters to fill your venue.
Optional step.
4. Provide Feedback
Rate and review the experience to help improve the Local Circuit program.
5. Create Another Edition
Start a new edition and keep the cycle going — build your community month after month.

Why It Matters
How Local Circuit fits the MavelPoint strategy.
Grassroots talent discovery
Promoters get a real, community-validated signal of which emerging artists are worth booking — not just inbox spam.
Free acquisition loop
Each edition brings artists, voters, and promoters onto the platform. The community-voting mechanic is a natural growth flywheel.
Cross-city network
Editions accumulate into a network: promoter feedback on artists, local artist rosters spanning multiple cities, and reusable database growth.
Local Circuit
Free for artists. Free for promoters. Powered by the community.
